14 Finished & Lots More To Go!
Hey Ladybugs!
Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day! How was my holiday, you ask? Country style ribs fresh off the grill combined with corn on the cob (also fresh off the grill), baked beans, potato salad, garden salad, and Hershey's Pie mixed with some family love and a Blueberry Margaritta - hmmmmm, guess how mine was?
Hip Hip Horray - my first order of Sunshine Buckets (how do you like their name) is finished! FOURTEEN of them, and each one original and unique.
I can't decide which one is my favorite, but this one comes close (I think)!
Now it's frantic ribbon tying on enough Halloween Sunshine Buckets to participate in a local craft fair this Saturday.
Want a Bucket of Sunshine for yourself or to give as a gift? Come on over to BUBBLES and BUTTERFLIES to purchase a ready made one or make a special request. You can also leave a comment for me to contact you, and I'll be happy to do so. You could also send me an email, and I'll get back to you! Lots of ways to get in touch, and lots of Sunshine Buckets to choose from!
Gotta run, Baby Lyric is visiting today! Just one of my blessings requires a diaper change - even the privilege of doing that is truly a blessing - lol.

A Yearly Tradition & Motherly Instinct
Good Morning Ladybugs,
Albeit still officially summer, it's County Fair time in Tennessee! Hot, expensive, crowded, smelly (some good and some bad), and did I mention EXPENSIVE, but always fun! I am so thankful that I once again had the opportunity to experience the excitement and true joy of Meleah and Jacob at the Fair, and a great time was had by all.
The instinct of a mother to nurture is amazing whether it's her natural born offspring or an unexpected gift of love. This female Camel caring for this baby Zebra was truly an endearing site.
Where have I been some of you may be asking. W-e-l-l, I got an order for seventeen (YES, 17) of my custom decorated buckets so I'm a bucket making maniac - every waking minute is accounted for until this project is complete. Not to mention that I will be participating in a Craft Fair at the end of September so I need to have lots and lots of my Halloween buckets ready for that. My house looks like a ribbon, bucket, glue, embellishment, paper cutting nightmare, but I don't have time to care right now!
If you too would like to be the proud owner of a custom handmade with a ton of love bucket, come over to my Etsy shop BUBBLES and BUTTERFLIES and order you up one! I am more than happy for custom requests too (Birthday, Wedding, New Baby, School Teacher, etc.). Just send an email, and we'll work together to come up with the perfect design!
Remember to recognize your blessings, Ladybugs! They're often disguised as ordinary everyday minutes.

Absence of Fall - Football time in Tennessee!
Woo-Hoo, GO TITANS!!
Uh-oh, my Blog is in trouble now - for sure! I've already been having a difficult time finding a few minutes to post (you've probably noticed, and I appreciate my Followers not disowning me), but now with football beginning, my plate truly runneth over with can't be ignored, gotta watch my boys all dressed up in Titans Blue, love love love me some FOOTBALL (is this completely abnormal for a woman - oh well, like I care if it's abnormal)!
BUT . . . what happened to the time when we all watched football wearing warm fuzzy autumn colored sweaters? It's 90+ degrees here today, and it's the 1st pre-season game! Sooo, being the big-hearted generous compassionate and over-heated menapousal Nana that I am, I actually forfeited the opportunity to attend the game tonight. After all, I didn't want to make the headlines of the Sunday paper by passing out from heat exhaustion as I climbed 4,000,000 stairs to get to the nose bleed section of LP Field to watch my boys get all sweaty in their tight blue football pants - woops, off track here . . . Anyway, Jacob and his Mom decided to have some "bonding time" and off they went to cheer on the Home Team! (Hope they're having a great time)
And WHY does school now start before swimming pools close??? Is that fair? Anyway, since no one asked for my humble opinion, off to school he went - 2nd grade already (and I only cried a little bit after I got back to the car). Have a great year, to all my precious grandchildren. Sweet innocence for a little while longer, I pray.
Hope you're counting your blessings, Ladybugs, cause you know I am (including what appears to be a win for the Titans tonight)!

Gas & Groceries for ONE YEAR Giveaway!
Good Morning Ladybugs!
Okay, okay, I know everyone is wondering "where in the world has that Main Ladybug gone to?" and I've pretty much been wondering the same thing myself! Life has been kicking my behind and it's hard as everything to be funny, charming and endearing when you're in the trench of " menapousal/unemployed/what now" mode, but here I am and I'm gonna try my damn best to be upbeat and positive . . . so here I go!!
Let's admit this, Ladybugs - while it's fun and exciting to win jewelry or purses or hairbows or any one of the million cute things given away on all of our blogs, doesn't it just make plain good sense to win something logical and necessary for a change? Check this out - FREE GAS And GROCERIES FOR A YEAR! Now, that's what I call an awesome Giveaway; how bout you?
Without further ado, I present to you the opportunity to spend your grocery money on something other than food! Hurry on over to Krogers everyday from now until September 11th for your daily entry PLUS you have a chance for one of several instant win prizes too! WOO-HOO this is exciting!
I realize that not all of you have the privilege of shopping at Krogers, and for that I apologize, and I will be searching extensively at Swagbucks (register on my sidebar - it's a fun and profitable alternative to google searching) for another awesome and logical giveaway to post that might just make you a Giveaway Winner!
Be blessed on this HOT Summer Day, Ladybugs, cause even in the midst of all this stress and turmoil, I KNOW THAT I AM!!!!

Now What?
Hi Ladybugs!
I've missed everyone, but have had a wonderful time visiting with my family from Florida. We played, we talked and talked, we had a birthday party, we hugged, we said "I love you" often, and then our time was up and my son boarded an airplane to return to Florida. My daughter-in-law and the children are still here visiting with her family, and will come back for more time with me later in the week, but my baby is back at work this morning. One last strong hug, and a plea for "Mom, please don't cry" and now I have yet one more void to fill - no job to go to and no Brad to cook a huge breakfast for. I'll adjust, and look forward to my next visit to Florida, but in the meantime I need to figure out my life and where I'm headed.
However, even in the midst of all this confusion, I never forget how blessed I am! I supposed I can simply be Nana for a little while, and be a servant of sorts to the royal court!
I'm searching for my humorous side, and am anxiously awaiting the day that I can post something "light" and without a hint of sadness. Although difficult, I know that the loss of my job has some type of significance and I'm excited to find out exactly what it is!
Have a wonderful day, Ladybugs, and thanks for all the kind words of support and encouragement.
